Virginia. I'd like to welcome to the show Michelle Rao from the Traveling Cheesehead YouTube channel

who has come to talk to us about a portion of the Virginia coast and we'll get into where but first Michelle welcome to the show

Thank you so much Chris. I'm happy to be here. Great and what part of the Virginia coast are you going to cover for us today?

Well we are looking at the historic triangle of Williamsburg, James Town, and Yorktown with a couple little side

trips that I'm going to throw in there as well.

Excellent. We've done a show on this way back in the Cretaceous period, I believe, early on in the show.

It's been a long time since we've talked about this area.

I've been there a couple times, but I wouldn't cover it on my own because the last time I was there,

I quite distinctly remember my son was just beginning to walk, he may get married next week so it's

been a little while. That is a good amount of years. Michelle why should we go to this part of Virginia? of American history. It's where the very first settlement was established

here in the United States before it was the United States. So if you really are into

learning about American history, you got to start where it began.

And it began at the Jamestown settlement.
