Bangkok. I'd like to welcome back to the show Michael Deroshers to the podcast and we're going to talk again

about Thailand and this time we're going to talk about Bangkok. Michael, welcome back to the show.

Thank you so much, sir. I'm glad to be here thanks for having me back

well and I say welcome back usually when I'm saying that to somebody it's like well

they haven't been on in in ten years and people may or may not remember he was on just like two weeks ago or something like that. I don't remember what it was when we talked about Kanchinabary.

And so...

Yeah, after the podcast, you and I just kind of chatted for a while and we realized that you hadn't done a show about Bangkok yet

And we were just sharing our experiences of Bangkok and we were like let's talk about Bangkok. Yeah, and I have been to Bangkok three times, most recently, according to the t-shirt I'm wearing,

2016 with a group of travelers for the amateur traveler Cambodia trip, and then for those who may not have just heard you on the show you

live in Bangkok and have lived there for seven years? Seven years that's right yeah

2013 and we won't do the whole story. People can listen to that story, but it was

adventure that brought you there and love that kept you there. I think would be the

fair way to say. That's exactly right. Yeah, yeah. And a love for Bangkok as well. So why should someone go to Bangkok, Thailand?

Bangkok, it's one of the world's great cities, I think, and a lot of people come through Bangkok.

Generally, if you're traveling in Southeast Asia, you'll probably go through Bangkok.

It's one of the busiest airports in the world, but a lot of people just spend a couple days maybe

and then go off to Vietnam or Cambodia.
