Today the Amateur Traveler talks about parks and ethnic food and the iconic CN tower as we go to Toronto. The Toronto. I got the city one more cafe.

I know that I should be heading home, but maybe not, maybe not today.

Welcome to the amateur traveler. I'm your host Chris Christensen. Before we get into

this week's interview I do have only one news story for you and that one caught a lot

of press this week.

There was a seat designer from airplane seats in Italy

that came up with a unique and rather unpleasant looking design for an airplane seat

and that is a saddle type seat.

So you're not sitting on a flat surface,

you're sitting on a saddle-like shape

and your legs don't go straight out from your hips,

but instead angle down

and the reason for that is so they can pack you in closer.

This is a seat that would have a seat pitch,

and a seat pitch is the distance from the back of one seat

to the back of the next of only 23 inches.
