Summary

The Amateur Traveler talks to Carla, Jason and Janie about their trip to Nambia. While traveling in southern African to attend some of the games of the World Cup the three made a visit to nearby Namibia after hearing from friends that it was one of their favorite African countries. Come with us as we learn about a country that is perhaps surprisingly prepared for tourists. We will talk about seeing 4 out of the "big 5" safari animals. Our trio talks about miles of sand, sand storms and riding camels but also talks about visiting the show and seal colonies. 0:36.3	into this week's interview I do have three news stories for you. There's a
0:40.3	slight possibility you may have heard about the first news story, which was a
0:44.7	jet-blue flight attendant who finally had it with rude passengers, and so he cursed out a passenger on the PA who had been cursing him out face to face.
0:56.0	Then grabbed a beer, opened the door, deployed the emergency slide, and slid out.
1:03.0	He was held on charges.
1:05.0	The biggest thing I think that they're worried about is that if someone had been under that slide,
1:09.0	as it had been deployed, they would have been injured or killed.
1:12.0	So not only is he quite clearly been have gotten very rude and that's got to be frustrating to a flight attendant so
1:24.0	there has been an interesting backlash because of this. One other interesting
1:29.1	and possibly related story is JetBlue is now recruiting from the NYPD. From the NYPD and
1:35.7	firefighters they are finding that flight attendants who they recruit from
1:40.0	there can deal with crisis situations more calmly.
