Summary

The Amateur Traveler talks to Sam Oppenheim who makes a rare 4th appearance on the show to talk about Bali in Indonesia. Sam started his exploration of Bali in Ubud which is the cultural capital of the area. He met two of the people mentioned in the popular book Eat, Pray, Love: Wayan and Ketut Liyer. In Ubud he attended some of the traditional Balinese dances (Legong, Barong and Kecak). Sam explored the Hindu temples and the resort area of Kuta Beach with its famous nightlife, dove a ship wreck and explored the island by motorcycle. 0:40.3	been to avoid baggage fees but there was a Romanian who stowed away aboard a
0:44.1	97 minute flight from Vienna to Heathrow.
0:46.4	He was lucky that he did not die because temperatures in the unheated cargo hold got down to
0:51.3	41 degrees below.
0:53.7	In good news story for an airline, in this case American Airline,
0:56.7	a very resourceful flight attendant who has a pilot's license
0:59.9	was able to take over when the co-pilot on a flight into Chicago fell sick with flu-like symptoms.
1:07.2	That story has a happy ending as the plane landed just fine.
1:10.6	And then you've heard me talk before about unclaimed luggage and strange things that they auction off.
1:15.8	Hopefully this would never happen, but a Southwest employee found a shipment of human heads on their way to Fort Worth.
1:23.7	20 to 40 human heads were being shipped to a medical research company.
1:28.0	Not sure how this happened, but I'm sure that heads will roll.
