We can now officially declare that we have been in the grip of a worldwide pandemic for three different seasons.

And the world hasn't got any more sensible, I'm afraid. Yeah, we've had spring, we've had summer, and we're now getting

into autumn. Here's what's going on. People seem to be getting their knickers in a twist about

Adele's new Jamaican-inspired hairstyle, claiming that it culturally misappropriates the Caribbean

culture. Looking at how much she's changed, I'd be more concerned that it's

not even her. It doesn't look like Adele to me. I mean, I'm not suggesting for a minute that there

should be some conspiracy theory out there that Adele has been replaced by somebody else, or that

Adele actually hasn't lost any weight at all and she's just putting this woman out there pretending that she has.

That would be mad, wouldn't it? That couldn't possibly be true. Footballer

and millionaire Marcus Rashman also seems to think he can now solve food poverty in the United

Kingdom after his success in the summer, forcing the government to continue to provide free school

meals. As a side dish, I'm afraid, he's too injured to play football. That's where we are.

Teachers are still warning they might not be able to go back to school,

despite assurances that there is hardly any risk whatsoever attached to doing so.

There we go with that one.
