Hello, I'm Bex and welcome to the Week Junior show. Today, I'm joined by two of the team from

the week junior, the magazine Making Sense of the World for 8 to 14 year olds. We've got writers

Eve and Kay. So, lots to cover in today's episode. We're going to be talking about the

Special Olympics World Winter Games, two astronauts who are back home after nine months in space,

and a story very close to my heart, an amazing

victory for Newcastle United. We'll also be having a big debate about whether peaceful

protesters should go to jail. So before all of that, we're going to be chatting about winter

sports very soon. And I was wondering, which winter sport do you wish you could be good at?

Now, I don't know whether I've mentioned it before on the podcast, but my

family are all very, very good ice hockey players. Two of my cousins were on, I think, the under 21's

England team for a while. Sadly, that skill did not transfer to me. I did try very hard to become

an ice hockey player, but sadly, ice skating is not my thing. So I think ice hockey, just to keep up with the

family, really. Eve, how about you? I'd go kind of along the same theme. I would go for ice skating,

but kind of like figure skating where you're doing dance routines, because as a kid, I used to be a

massive fan of dancing on ice, and I used to really love Torval and Dean and I used to have a DVD with their

dance routines on it that I used to watch. Sadly, I'm kind of, I'm not very good at ice skating.

I think Kay can actually attest to that. I've been ice skating with Kay before and I clutched onto the

side the whole time because I was so scared. So yeah, this is kind of a fantasy where I've got rid of the fear of ice skating and then suddenly

I'm an amazing ice skater.
