Isaiah chapter 43 verses one through three

but now thus says the Lord he who created you oh Jacob he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel.

Fear not, for I have redeemed you.

I have called you by name, and you are mine.

When you pass to the waters I will be with you and through the rivers they shall not overwhelm

you.

When you walk through fire you shall not be burned and the flame shall not consume you for I am the Lord

your God the Holy One of Israel your your Savior.

Are those not amazing words from God to His people?

Is this not all over Isaiah. These chapters in Isaiah are so

incredible as God just gives us a glimpse into His heart for his people as he's saying to them don't be afraid we've heard

this at different points he says it again and again and again why because we are

so prone to be afraid. We're so prone to fear, to worry, to anxiety.

Just think about how that plays out in your life and hear God saying over and over and over again every day fear not why because I have redeemed you because I'm writing a story of redemption in your life that you may not

understand right now and you may not see all the fruit of right now but trust me

I'm your redeemer I'm the one who takes that which is wrong and I make it right I'm the one who takes

ashes and turns them into beauty and I have called you by name. You are mine. What a picture and

yes this is God speaking to Israel in the Old Testament at a specific place and time in history.

At the same time we see this all over the New Testament.

Everything that's here applied to those who trust in God through Jesus.

He has called you by name before the foundation of the world he's called you by name.
