Milton has pushed past Florida leaving at least 10 people dead and destruction in its

wake as people return to what's left of their homes and some still wait for and water rescue is carried out by first responders with boats or high water vehicles

others carried out by National Guard soldiers and several too carried out just

by ordinary civilians trying to help or save their neighbors. The biggest

movement has been with electricity.

There were 4 million people without electricity. Now that's down to 3.2 million.

In part, that's because of the Governor DeSantis pre-positioned more than 50,000 line workers in the state to be

ready to move in so that number is moving down quickly and other things are reopening.

Tampa Airport opens tomorrow I-4 and I-75 the main corridors already back open for business.

Fox is Steve Harrigan in Tampa. Still officials in Hillsboro, Panella, Sarasota and Lee

counties urging people to stay home because of down power lines, trees

across roads and flooding. Transportation Secretary Pete

Buttigij says the impact on commerce could have been catastrophic if Port Tampa

Bay was impacted.

It sounds like there was not that kind of impact and of course they're going through now to make sure things like

buoys and navigational aids are there.

Coast Guard will be in charge of certifying that it's safe. Governor Ron Desantis has said police will escort fuel truck so that gas can get to service

stations that need it.

Lebanon's Health Ministry says at least 22 people were killed and 117 wounded in airstrikes in

Central Beirut. The Associated Press reports one strike hit the lower half of

an apartment building, the other collapsed a building which then caught on fire.
