So on Saturday, there was an attempted assassination, or at least it's theorized an attempted

assassination on the president of the United States, again, by someone that had spewed a bunch

of left-wing rhetoric on the internet, again. And once again, the media is telling us all not

to jump to conclusions, even though we have a full manifesto, which makes the motivations pretty clear.

Now, everyone has gone through what has happened over the last couple of days, and we're not going to rehash all of that.

We'll give a quick summary of events and what took place.

But we're going to dig primarily into a couple of questions with respect to why is political violence on the uptick with the left

wing? We're going to address some of these claims that it is just as prominent on the right

wing or that this left wing violence is something of a new phenomenon. And then we're going to

talk about a very important question. And that is what is the right likely to do about this? Because

we're getting to a point where when somebody says, oh gosh, could you imagine what would

happen if the shoe was on the other foot? Yes. Yeah, we all can at this point. In fact,

I think we're tired of hearing, well, can you imagine how the press would react if we did this?

Because the right at this point expects something to be done.

And I don't just mean about this individual case.

They expect something to be done about the culture within the left that seems to keep causing this and causing people on the left to celebrate and encourage it. And the dangerous

part is, is that if something isn't done, well, let's just put it this way, something will be done.

And if we want it to be something that can actually preserve our republic, then we need to start

having some hard conversations about what happens next because things cannot continue as usual.

And I will just point out that part of the reason why Christian and I are both are fired up about this is not just because this is something that is frustrated us for a long time.

It's something that we've talked a lot about.

But it's increasingly gotten personal for both of us and we're going to share exactly what we mean by that.
