We're bringing you a show we recorded in Aspen, Colorado, at the Food and Wine magazine Classic.

Now, let me give you a feel for this event.

This is the 20th anniversary of the classic.

This is the place superstars show up every single year. This is also the place where Food and Wine

Magazine names its 10 best new chefs of the year. This is no small honor considering how

competitive the food business is.

It's like a three-ring circus with ongoing masterclasses, wine tastings, and seminars,

and then there's the big tasting tent.

Between classes, you roam and you sip.

Now, this place is big enough for its own zip code.

You're going to find winemakers, food producers, what's new,

what's old, there's an Italian pavilion, a Spanish pavilion, and this year, Granipidano cheese was everywhere. There is no food and wine event quite like this one. Now, we recorded this

show in a jewel box of a theater, the historic Wheeler Opera House.

You're going to be hearing from a lineup of luminaries, including Star Chef Mario Battale,

our favorite woman in France, Patricia Wells, New York's master restaurateur Danny Meyer,

and that father and daughter team, Jacques and Claudine Pepin.
