I talk about everything from herbalism, a really beautiful doorway into the world of herbalism

and how we can approach learning about herbalism one plant at a time. I talk about how to find a

sense of belonging and a feeling of home and making connections with our ancestral past, meaning

connecting with relatives that have passed long ago and how maybe that connection can even bring

us places in the world today. I also talk about just some family stuff that we have going on in

our lives right now and how to release fears about having good things come to an end.

Welcome, welcome, welcome, dear friends. It's time for a brand new episode of From the Heart

with Rachel Breithin. I feel so lucky. I get to sit here to talk to you right now. It's been a

while since I had an entire hour to myself. Truly, the past couple of days the baby has just really

been wanting to be carried and held literally 24 hours a day. I mean, okay, no, not at night, but

all day. He's kind of in the carrier with me all day. My back is killing me. I take him with me

to the bathroom. I do all the cooking and baking and I harvest vegetables in the garden with him.

Literally, I'm holding him pretty much all day. So just now I walked into the bedroom. I sat

down in my little podcast chair and I lit a candle, took a breath and just felt like, whoa, I'm alone.

I'm alone and I get to record the podcast. It feels really, really special.

So today, actually, it's time for a segment of Ask Rachel, which, as you know, is one of my favorite

things to record. You call me and you ask your questions and I don't listen to them beforehand.
