I'm Mick Garrison, this is the fun-size edition of Postmortem AMA where you can ask me

0:25.5

anything and your conduit through which you ask your questions is our estimable producer Joe Russo,

0:32.8

producer Joe, how are you? I am doing great, Mick. How are you? I'm very well better than I have

0:39.4

any right to be. Well, I hope you had a fun Halloween and I've got weirdly this is going to be a

0:46.2

different kind of episode. Okay. We got a question a couple weeks ago and I've been saving it for

0:53.8

this specific instance because we had a banger of an October. I mean, we had guests after guests

just a couple of minutes. Well, and we're going to unravel it in a little more than a couple of

1:59.9

minutes. So let's go back to the beginning. And I think that would trace us all the way back to

2:08.3

the early 80s, where you first encountered the King of Pop on his other music video that your

2:20.6

friend John Landis directed Thriller. Tell us a little bit about that. Okay, well, John and I have

2:26.5

been friends since my office was next to his when I was answering store phones for the original

2:32.9

Star Wars in 77. And he was prepping animal house. We've talked about that.

2:37.8

When he made Thriller, he invited me and my wife Cynthia to be zombies in that, which we did. And
