Hello, good morning and welcome back or welcome to Morning Ray. I'm your host, Lan or Lana,

and this week is our last Ask Lan advice column of 2025. How the hell are we here, you guys?

You guys know I love doing Ask Lan. You send in your questions. I answer them on the pod and we got

to chat it out. Take it as your best friend, your older sister, your sister, your sibling, your friend,

whoever giving you advice. These are the questions that you have asked me and I'll be answering them.

Disclaimer before we get started, I am just a 26-year-old

girl. I'm figuring out life just as you are. And so when you guys asking questions,

obviously I don't have every single detail about who you are, the situation, whatever it is.

I'm just taking the question at face value and providing you advice and my input

if I were asked this question by one of my girlfriends or friends in my life. So really excited

to jump into the episode. But before we get into Askland, I want to do a little bit of life

updates, maybe some current faves, and then we'll get

into it. I leave for South Africa on Friday, which is literally insane. I feel like I was just saying

that I was leaving for London and South Africa around this time last year, and it's literally

been another year, which is insane. I'm going to Cape Town for the first time. Normally, when I have

visited South Africa in the past, I've gone to Johannesburg, which is where my family is

from originally. My parents immigrated to Toronto in the day 1990 before I was born, but our whole

extended family is still there. So I'm excited to get to see everyone in Cape Town.

We're also going to Plattenburg.

We're doing the, what's it called?

Not the safari.

I guess you could say it's the safari, the game range.
