So today is an Ask Dr. Kim segment on the Awesome Marriage Talk. I'm excited about the question

that we got today was, my spouse and I can't

agree on anything. What's wrong with us? How do we fix it? So I feel like a lot of couples end up

struggling with this where they just seem to be at odds about everything, anything and everything.

And it's really hard for them to agree on things, which makes life really challenging because

you have to make a lot of decisions together as a couple when you're married. And so what are some of the things that cause this in a couple, this

rub where they're always at odds? What do you think, Dr. Kim? Kind of depends on what stage of marriage.

And I think most couples go through those, especially in our years, we certainly did a lot of

that of just, I think, wanting to do things our way.

You know, we came from different homes.

We thought we were a lot more like than we were going into marriage,

and then you get married and you realize, man, there are a ton of differences.

And so you've got that deal of trying to become, it's almost territorial.

Who's going to do what?

How are you going to do things?

I want it this way.

And so you fight about all kinds of things. And I think once you get in that pattern, you can find yourself fighting about everything.

I mean, where you go to dinner or what you're, you know, all kinds of stuff.

And so I think it's something that a lot of couples do struggle with.
