Today on Ask Dr. Kim, the question is, is it possible to have a successful God honoring second

marriage? So what an interesting question that we have today, Dr. Kim, do you think there's kind of,

you know, the general answer, do you think it's possible?

Well, yes, I do.

And I think it's a great question just in our culture because there are so many second marriages,

you know, with all the divorce rate of 50%, well, most of those are a lot of those people

are going to get remarried again.

The statistic is that there are more problems in second marriages than first marriages. So I think, yes, it's possible for it to be successful, but I think a couple, if they're really

going to make it successful, they're going to figure out what we're wrong in that first marriage.

Yeah.

And what do we need to do to overcome those issues so we don't drag that into a second marriage?

But yes, I've seen some amazing second marriages.

Yeah, I agree.

I've seen some really great God honoring second marriages where they're just like really thriving.

And a lot of times it's maybe they didn't know the Lord in their first marriage and weren't

really walking with him and the second marriage they are.

And I love the point that you

brought up that like a lot of second marriages don't do well. I think one of the reasons that happens is

because people kind of like kind of think their second marriage is going to be ideal. Like they kind of
