Thanks for listening. Today I'm asked Dr. Kim, the question is how do we find a good local church

we can agree on? So the question came in from someone who says that

their spouse is having a really hard time with every church they go to. So every church they go to,

they get plugged in for just a little while. And then their spouse ends up having a problem

with it and they end up having to switch. So they're never really getting truly connected and

plugged in because they are long enough, they are long enough in order to form some lasting

good relationships and really get plugged into the ministry. So Dr. Cam, this is a hard

situation to be in. Is there a perfect church out there for this couple to even attend?

There's no perfect church. And I think that's, sometimes we seek that, but I mean, I think we

have to always remember the church is made up of imperfect people just like you and me, like all of us are.

And so it's not going to be perfect.

There's some church you may like the music, you know, like something else.

And I think there's different churches for different people.

Something may appeal to one person more than the other.

But, you know, what are you looking for?

What do you need?

Those kind of things.

But if you're looking for a perfect church, you're never going to find one. And honestly, I think I've

seen people, I'm not saying this is this couple that use that as an excuse not to lock into a church.

It's like, well, they always find something wrong. And so they move on to another church or they don't go for a while or

...
