Thanks for listening. Today on Ask Dr. Kim, we're asking a scary question, a question that

scares me that I hope we don't get angry emails about, right? Dr. Kim, we're asking, can Christians date online? What do you think, Dr. Graham? Do you think it's okay for Christians to do this? Okay, yes. I think it's okay. You know, and it comes with probably a lot. I've had so many couples I've worked with that have dated online that's how they met.

I think God used that to connect them. We've done premarral counseling. They've been married.

They've been well. And I see it, I see it becoming more accepted. I think Christians were very wary,

even with Christian Mingler or things like that. They still, it was kind of a stigma there. It's like, I know, it's kind of like the mail order bride thing that used to be back in the

1800s or something like that.

You know, it's like, what am I getting and doing this?

And then we heard some horror stories.

There's always those horror stories.

Someone misrepresent himself.

And I think all those things are there and I think all the things are valid. I had more than one woman who was taken by a guy

that she met online and ended up giving the person money, ended up doing some things, never met the

person and just the person was not who they meant to be. So put themselves out to be. So I know those

kind of things happen. I also know I had a couple I met not too long ago and they had both.

They're probably both in their like 50s. They both had lost spouses. They both were just kind of lonely and thought,

why don't get online? The first day they were online, both of them happened to be online within a

couple days of each other. They found each other. They've been dating over a year now. It looks like

they're probably going to marry. So, you know, I think God brings people get in a lot of ways. Why can't God use technology? We know what he does with technology for us of marriage, to help people

with marriages, to do the ministry that we do globally. So I think it, yes, I don't think there's a right

or wrong there. I think you're why it's like anything. Why are you wanting to date?
