0:40.6

been pointed out to me by Bang's Noddy Bits, aka Michael, that today, when you're

hearing this Monday, I mean if you're hearing this on Monday is the third anniversary of the death of the great

0:55.2

Christopher Hitchins. So I didn't know that. We actually just talked about it pretty recently

1:02.1

but I didn't realize it was already coming up.

1:04.4

Three years, wow, December 15th, 2011.

1:08.1

And, you know, of course, Hitchins was always controversial, and I know there are a lot of people who disagree

1:14.3

with them on some things and you know I didn't always agree with them.

atheists but just to everybody I really I've said it before but I just loved reading

his columns were just was just absolute pleasure I mean, they were rarely even atheism related. Well, I don't know about rarely, but oftentimes it was purely foreign policy or you know that sort of thing and it just he knew so much and had such a

1:44.8

nuanced view I just I really miss him I remember being pretty sad pretty

1:50.8

depressed for a while when he died.

1:53.7

And so I thought I'd play a little tiny tribute that Michael sent me.

This is courtesy of Mr. Bangs Noddy Bits, as we all know his weird Twitter name, or sorry, his weird Facebook name.

2:09.8

And yeah, so this also has some Sam Harrison, but it's sort of a sort of prefaces it.

2:15.4

So, thought I'd stick it in there.

2:17.0

The point I was making there, but it does that point of not knowing what happens after death is what worries me about this conversation.

2:25.5

I've been very worried about this that all of you have given up a perfectly serviceable Tuesday evening

2:31.5

only to hear the four of us tell you every which way that we have no idea what happens after that. And I expressed my spirit of my wife and she was actually able to put me at ease.

2:50.0

I'm worried obviously about boring all of you and she said nothing
