Okay, some I think I need a bit of introduction to what you're about to hear.

Now, some weeks ago, I did an episode with Jake Farwarden

of the imaginary friend show Dototcombe Poadcased, my favorite Pote Caste of all of them.

And we talked about depression and we talked about euthanasia, we talked about a lot of things like that got a lot of response and one

thing that I said because I believe it was just after the Robin Williams thing if I'm remembering right but

One thing I said was that I think in these cases it's always true that there are countless no matter who it is no matter who you

are there's always countless people who would be happy to talk to you I mean

oftentimes you can feel really alone etc and and I just made this statement and

was sort of sort of in some ways taken up on it by anonymous Steve is he needs to remain anonymous for for various reasons.

He emailed me and and said that he's well for lack of a better word because it is the right word he's

suicidal he said and but he's also a doctor of psychology and has quite a lot of understanding of what's going on and he's an

atheist and essentially I thought I definitely wanted to have him on the show to talk and see where it went and see what's going on.

It's an interesting thing. It is very difficult subject.

So bummer alert, I guess.

If anyone is easily bummed out by things like this,

you're forewarned.

But it was very interesting.

Steve is an incredibly interesting guy.

I wanted Jake on just because he has a lot more expertise and would provide further insight and we just talked and there's there's a bit involving

atheism and religion because it does change your perspective on life and stuff like that.

But for the most part we just talked as people and talked about the issues, the problem,
