Accelerated Spanish, Episode 32.

0:03.0

How fast do you want to be fluent in Spanish?

0:06.0

Using our tested system that combines timeless language learning hacks with a memory palace of nymonics,

0:11.0

you can be ready to integrate with native speakers in as little as one month.

0:15.0

This week's vocabulary will involve a survey of Joel's entire world besides verbs. We'll review the words that we've

0:22.6

learned in previous lessons, and we'll add words to those same scenes because these new words

0:28.0

are used in similar ways. In today's episode in particular, we're not going to learn a whole

0:33.7

lot of new words, but we'll be placing a lot of our focus on some new and strange ways

0:38.8

of using pronouns. For now, let's start in the amusement park with some new conjunctions and

0:44.7

prepositions. Joel comes to the amusement park extremely early on a Monday morning just

0:50.9

before the sun comes up. Of course, Joel likes the light. We've seen before that he

0:57.4

feels like he belongs to the day. So when he picks a ride in the early morning, he wants to choose a ride

1:04.3

1:14.1

This fruit's colors look a lot like the colors of the rising sun. As Joel stands next to the

1:19.8

park binoculars, he compares the different parts of the sky with the fruit that he's holding,

1:26.0

insisting, I want to go where the dawn is, or I want to go

1:31.4

don't the dawn is. The word don'te means where as a conjunction. You'll notice that this is similar

1:40.7

to a word in the marketplace, but there it had an accent mark, whereas this

1:45.2

one doesn't have an accent mark. It's just D-O-N-D-E with no accent mark. Instead of asking

1:51.8

questions, this word, Donde, is used to join phrases together, just like other conjunctions that

1:59.2

we've learned. So what we're going to do is we'll leave this little slice of dawn day melon that Joel is holding

2:05.6

next to the binoculars, along with the pero pair and the porque pig.
