Comes this story I remind you that it was six weeks ago that the Houston Chronicle said he was stubborn

the very good story about how the City of Houston Water Department wasted money on

commemorative coins and other trinkets. Remember the big water bill crisis?

That was when that was going on. The commemorative challenge coin

alone cost the city $15,500. Enter now a city councilman Carolyn Evans

Chabazz and she says this ain't no good or something to that effect,

In the spirit of the tradition of the military of commanders coins, we're going to be

introducing a director's coin to represent Houston Public Works.

A bright shiny gold coin bearing public works director Carol Haddick's name.

We found out about this token of appreciation

and this video when a tipster anonymously

forwarded the email Haddick blasted out

to every Public Works employee in mid-January.

The tipster added their own note,

Waste of taxpayer's money.
