Good morning and welcome to yet another week in the Independent Republic of Mike Graham on Talk Radio.

Things couldn't be better, could they? So here's a question for you. How was it for you? Are you feeling suitably refreshed? Did the

weekend allow you to spread your wings and experience freedom once more? This morning,

we are still feeling refreshed from our Saturday show with Kevin O'Sullivan and a host of guests

in a nearby pub to this very studio. The atmosphere was fantastic. The customers and punters all behaved themselves,

and all in all, it was a very civilised day that generated millions for the economy and the business

of hospitality, and that really is what it's all about. Today, we want to hear from you about

what you got up to. I've already received reports that some parts of the country are still very

far from recovery, very far from busy, and very

far from anything that you might term the old normal. We've all seen the pictures from Soho

in central London on Saturday night, and once more we appear to have morphed into a divided nation,

those who want to get out there and spend their hard-earned money in the bars and restaurants,

and those you still think it's all happening too fast. Predictably, of course, social media has lived up to its agenda of poison and hate.

Middle-class wannabe rich kids were picking on working people who were out and joined themselves

and ridiculing the way they looked.

I saw one tweet which was making fun of a guy who'd been out tarmacking all night,

basically saying this looks like everybody I expected to who

would go to the pub this weekend. Apparently, everyone who went out drinking is a thick racist.
