Our Handhouse website, which we have had so much great feedback about. She is an artist who works

to incorporate her passion for animals into all of her work, and we are thrilled that she is

joining Jasmine today for this very special in the family interview. I love having people on who we know and nobody

else knows. Well, I guess some people don't. But it's lovely to be able to introduce people to

Veronica who is just a great person. Yeah, I think Veronica is legitimately getting quite a following

of her own. I'm looking at her Instagram right now because you have to follow her if you're not already because her art is just so beautiful. So it's W because her name Veronica starts with a W. It's W dot Kalinska, K-O-L-I-N-S-K-A. So follow her right now. You're going to be happy you did. Now I'm looking at her page and I

like don't want to record because all I want to do is deep dive. But anyway, she's just a lovely

human, super smart, super talented. I love talking to talented people. I love talking to artists.

And she's going to talk about her art. So can't wait for that. Before we talk about that, there's been a bit of an

implosion this week, Marianne. You want to chat about what's going on? Well, yeah, we're talking

about the implosion of effective altruism. Maybe that's a little strong, but actually,

I'm not sure it's that strong. There's this big story, which doesn't have anything to do with us,

really,

with this guy Sam Bankman-Fried, who was the CEO of FTX, and he's in all sorts of hot water and being accused of running a scam, which sounds like that may be an accurate accusation,

though I don't really know a whole lot about it.

But the point is, he's a big, wealthy, effective altruism guy. And so this has brought up a lot

of conversation about whether effective altruism, which has gotten kind of nothing but good

things said about it for years,

whether it's really not headed in the right direction. And a lot of this has to do with

long-termism. And I have to admit, I've heard Will McCaskill, I heard on some podcast,

he's a big EA guy and he's written a lot about it.
