who has been very much sticking up for Arsenal over the last 48 hours. If anyone joined us

on Saturday and Sunday, you'd have seen the panel not impressed with the tactics that Arsul employed in that defeat on penalties against PSC.

People were critical of them, Ian. You, however, weren't.

Well, I just think they took a pragmatic view of the situation.

They were playing against probably the most dangerous attack

you can put Barcelona in there in Europe.

They've got the best defense.

They score an early goal,

probably not expected in the situation.

And then they utilised their very best quality

of being able to defend.

And to be honest with you, Paris Saint-German did not look like scoring until they did

with that penalty.

So I think all I'm saying is I'm not defending Arsson and saying there should be a time

when they play a more expansive game somewhere down the line.

But in that match, on that occasion, against that menacing an opponent,

I think he got the tactic strike right bang on,

and they were a penalty shootout away from succeeding

and walking away with the Champions League trophy.

They didn't in the end, but it was a one-one draw,
