It has been, I think it's fair to say, a fairly emotional week for Arsenal fans.

The horror and the sympathy that we have for Aaron Ramsey having suffered that terrible

injury.

The pride that I think the vast majority of us felt at the way the team responded to that.

The sense of community and pride in being an Arsenal fan that has been prevalent everywhere

this week.

And what I mean by that is that in response to what has been a huge amount of retarded

shit, I can't think of any other way to put it, Arsenal fans have more or less closed

ranks.

And it's unusual in the sense that anyone who spends a lot of time online will know

that there is a big, big, Arsenal presence online.

There are blogs here, there and everywhere and websites and forums.

And I suppose when you have that big of a group of people, there are some that don't

get along and they don't necessarily agree with each other half the time or any of the

time for that matter.

But what has been noticeable this week is the way that Arsenal fans have responded almost

as one and differences of opinion have been put aside because we've been able to see

that those things aren't necessarily important right now if they were ever important.

And what's important is the fact that one of our players is really badly injured and

he needs our support and he got that this week.
