Let's start your morning with today's outlook on the Kansas City Chiefs.

Here's what you need to know for Wednesday, January 18th.

The Kansas City Chiefs took the practice field on Tuesday following their wild card weekend by week to begin preparation for Saturday's divisional round matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Chiefs took on Doug Peterson's team all the way back in week 10 of the regular season, winning 27-17, but also marking the turning point of Jacksonville season.

After their loss to the Chiefs, Jackson headed into a by-week where they made adjustments that have been a large part of their second half turn around, resulting in a 7-1 record over the last 8 contests, including last weeks and probable come from behind win over the Los Angeles Chargers.

Now a lot is being made of the Jags run here and deservedly so, but Kansas City also happens to be 7-1 in their last 8 games, including locking up the first round by.

This Jags team is certainly playing at a higher level and the first time they took the field against the Chiefs this season, but Kansas City knows what's at stake in the divisional round of the playoffs.

The Chiefs for once appear mostly healthy ahead of Saturday's game. Frank Clark came out of week 18 dealing with a groid injury, but Andy Reed seemed confident he's progressing enough to be available this week.

The only Chief who did not practice on Tuesday was wide receiver McCull Hardman, who apparently has suffered a setback in his injury.

It seems like his status could be in doubt for Saturday's game, but the Chiefs did activate tight-end Shodi Fortson and running back Clyde Edwardsy-Layers' 21-day window to return from IR.
