Summary

Gandhi warns that constant scrolling and device addiction may be rewiring our brains and urges everyone to unplug and touch grass, Nate questions why vanilla-scented cologne isn’t more acceptable for men (and fully commits to smelling like a dessert), Danielle debates whether speed-wash cycles actually clean clothes or just save time, Skeery declares gift cards officially back in style as his go-to present, and Scotty B wonders if getting older means his alcohol tolerance is disappearing faster than his ability to stay out late.

Okay, so ask me, what is my least favorite part of our show?

0:13.2

What is your least favorite part of our show?

0:16.4

Phone taps.

0:17.4

All right, ask me my favorite part of our show.

0:21.0

What is your favorite part of our show? Let's do it. It's round the room. Come on. I love it when we go around the room. What's on your minds today? I want to know. We'll start with you, Gandhi. What are you thinking about? All right. I know we talk about it all the time, but stay off your electronic devices as much as you can. because I just just saw and I'm sure we've talked about this before a brain scan of somebody who is

0:41.4

constantly on their phone constantly scrolling and using chat GPT versus somebody

0:45.9

who does not and the activity is wildly different really killing our brains we

0:52.5

are killing ourselves by spending our day looking at what

0:55.5

everybody else is doing. Live your life, go outside, touch grass, breathe the fresh air. It's important, not just because it's good for your, you know, mental health. It's genuinely good for your actual physical brain. So stay away from that kind of stuff if you can. I'm talking to myself. Is it permanent damage or can we come back from it?

1:10.6

That's a great question.

1:11.6

I'm not sure.

1:12.2

Just that activity gets lower.

1:13.7

And, you know, once your brain activity starts to decrease, that causes all kinds of problems. So I would imagine it's something that's fixable. I don't think it's permanent. I'm not the scientist that did this. So don't listen to me. But just do your best. Stay off of this. Well, you know, I've said it before. I've said it. I'll say it a million times. When you were sitting there and scrolling and scrolling and scrolling, you are disconnecting from yourself. You think, well, no, I'm just with me. I'm connecting with myself. No, you're not. You're not connecting with you. You're connecting with anything but you. Yeah. So don't forget yourself. Hello. Producer Sam, what's on your mind today? Just a reminder that communication is really important in a marriage because William, I thought, was giving me the cold shoulder all evening and I couldn't tell what was up. So finally I was like, dude, what, what happened? What's wrong with you? He goes, well, you told me to stop bothering you and leave me alone. And I put two and two together. I was talking to Savannah because I was cooking and she was like just standing at my feet waiting for food to drop. So I told her to leave me alone and stop bothering me. William just said something to me before I didn't hear. And he thought I was talking to him. So they were three hours where he was like, geez, that was rude.

And I'm like, why is he being a bitch?

2:19.6

And it turns out that was what happened.

2:22.0

So, you know.

2:22.9

And you think that's better?

2:24.0

You actually were rude to Savannah.

I know.
