This is one of my favorite parts of the year. It's a special day. You wake up and the cereal just tastes a little better. Walk to school with your kids in back for you. The air is just crisper. Football is back. Well, I knew we were going to get that. Yeah. That drop. This Greg football back. You're trying to make it a thing, Greg. And the more you try to make it a thing, the more it repulses Mark and I, because we know football is not back until the second week of February. It's been a thing for, we're on like year nine of this bit.

It's going strong.

And yes, before the show, we were talking, learned a couple of different things.

Claibon to my right, actually, you've heard the cliche, but Patrick wants the world to know he

actually did walk uphill both ways to get to and from his school.

That's right.

As a child and now they've cut a path through the middle of the brush, which made me wonder is,

oh, that sounds great for the kids of today.

But that's where to use the parlance of my times back in New York, the skids would hang out

and the less populated, less, no cop

interference or people looking around. The skids could do what the skids do. Also known as,

what do we call them where you guys are from? They burnouts. Burnouts. No chance at

about Massachusetts. What were they known as? Greg's like, I was one of them. I don't know.

Burnouts sounds right. Burnouts? Alabama? Yeah, we didn't necessarily have a parlance. There weren't any like creak critters who would hang out on the path. Cretters? It's like with a cane hole. Arsonists would be another word, I guess, in our town. The skit, well, that's different.

It's just a lot of fires. The only thing the skids really did that I ever clocked was they put one foot up against the side of the Walgreens over the fence from the high school, smoked a ton of cigarettes, listened to a lot of Metallica, and threw snowballs at the normals.

It's very Simpsons. Did they refer to themselves as the skids? No, I would imagine. Well, that's why I was asking about Greg. I don't know, because you had the long hair. You were in a goth emo band. Maybe you didn't know what the term was. Maybe you actually were in that crew. No. I don't think emo's were, like, there wasn't a huge Venn diagram crossover with burnouts. I mean. But also, goth emo usually doesn't cross over, does it? Or maybe it does. Plus, this is all, sorry, in Delaware. A figment of your imagination. No, they existed. I don't know what the name is. I do remember I was once like kicked very hard by one in a hallway in our class.
