I'm speaking today with executive coach, Janette Hobson.

Janette has been an executive coach and vestige chair for 26 years and served as a senior vice president

for a vestige Eastern Division from 2010-2012.

In 2008, she was the recipient of the prestigious Don Cope Award, awarded to the single chair annually,

who has displayed excellence in prestige.

Firstly, as an aside, I can tell you being in the room, it is a big deal when somebody gets this award,

where hundreds of chairs, and there might be 600 in the room, are there to celebrate the work of a great individual.

So we're truly talking to someone who has accomplished much and has great regard among her peers.

Now, beyond her business experience, Janette is a certified management consultant.

Prior to chairing, she was vice president for investment management with Bank of New York,

that later became Bank of New York Mellon.

At Bank of New York, she worked for some 20 years, where she managed over 100 high net worth individual and aristocrats.

She earned a master in business policy for the prestigious Columbia Business School,

and my son tells me that's the school to go to.

So, in a disindoor chain, Janette is an instructor at the Thayer Institute,

I'm really looking forward to learning more about that.

As Lee Thayer was quite a champion in leader and leadership and thought of coaching.

So, Janette's extensive background investment in management, her history with coaching,

her history with 200 different groups, has made her quite impactful to her clients and her peer groups.
