I am speaking today with Steve Remarini, executive coach, master coach,

founder and chief visionary officer at Compel CEO's, and winner of the Heinembourg.

levers, large and small, helping them grow and achieve their personal goals.

As we began, I want to share that Steve is a destructor and innovator and executive coach

peer that I esteem highly, and I thought that speaking today with Steve would be a great addition

to our Art of Coach podcast that seeks to explore excellence and the art and science of coaching today.

What I interviewed Steve, our interview actually went on several hours. We had such a fun time

in the dialogue and so it took some thinking about what were the most important bits to have here.

One of the things that I thought was extraordinary was the deep relationship that he builds

with the members that he coaches. Listen here as you drop into the interview where he is now

coached the parent and also coached the child that is taking over the business.

I just listened to this conversation and wonder how do you create such a great relationship

as it did in your own coaching practice? Well, I guess I look at the days when I was really moved.

You know, I can remember sitting with a client and a member who her mom was a member, but then

her mom said you're coming in and being president to her when she was like 23 years old and so that

that's 20 years now, but this goes back a little bit and we were doing a one-to-one and her brother

worked with her at the company and her brother comes in and says, did you tell him?

And so right away I'm like, oh, this is the last one-to-one, she's leaving the group, you know, blah, blah, blah.

She goes, tell him, tell him. So she looks at me and she says, yeah, well, I've decided that when I
