Good morning, good afternoon and good evening. I figured I'd try something new to everyone.

Welcome back to the Messy Masterpiece Podcast, which had in Tori. Happy Wednesday.

0:18.8

Happy midweek, y'all.

0:20.5

Happy midweek. Tori wanted to say home day, but whatever. We are doing day three in the

0:26.7

U-version Bible app challenge thing, which is the war room playlist. There's a link to it in the

0:31.7

description below. And as always, I'm going to read the scripture and then Tori's going to

0:35.3

read the devotional. Let's just hop right in. So the first scripture is Luke 18 verse 1,

0:41.6

about your mighty works. Oh, God, your ways are holy. Is there any God as mighty as you?

1:22.2

1:46.1

on Mount Carmel. But it took him praying three times before God resurrected the dead son of the

1:52.2

widow. And Elijah prayed seven times before God sent back rain on the earth during that time of

1:58.5

drought. Elijah learned to pray and trust God's timing and to not give up. In Christian history,

2:06.2

we also think about George Mueller who lived a life that was one of the greatest demonstrations

2:11.9

of answered prayer. When he died, he had 50,000, 50,000 documented answers to prayer. 5,000 of those

2:22.8

were answered on the day he prayed them. Of course, that means 90% of the time George Mueller just kept

2:31.0

waiting and praying. He prayed for 63 years for one man to come to Christ before that man ended
