And I've got to tell you, my friends, it is what a lot of people in their

advanced years say. She said, I wish I weren't so cautious. I was too cautious. This comes up a lot.

Often we look back at our lives with this sense of regret. What if? What if? In fact,

there's an old saying that what if, those are the two saddest words, the saddest question in the English

language. What if? I will tell you this. If you describe yourself or consider yourself a cautious person, that can be a wonderful thing.

Being cautious often means that we're simply responsible. But this is where we have to do a real

risk assessment. Is that thing that we want to go for or that opportunity that we want to seize

or that decision we want to make, is it really

that risky?

When I left my corporate job, I remember thinking the very worst thing that could happen

would be, I give my business a full swing of the bat, and if I don't like it, then after a certain
