Do you ever ask for signs?

I ask for signs all of the time and when I notice those synchronicities, I'll admit I

kind of flicker between, oh my gosh, this is the sign that I

ask for versus, oh, well, this is just, you know, something that happened. There's nothing magical

or mystical about this. Maybe this is just, you know, I'm kind of a good luck thing that I saw,

or this isn't unique at all. Maybe I'm reading too deeply into this. Let me ask you

this question. If you see a sign or a potential sign and you refute it, you brush it off like I

often do, why would you live your life that way? Why would you reject the signs, however small,

however seemingly insignificant? If you see a sign and just go, no, why? Why would you do that?

Why would I do that? I believe that the more we pay attention to signs,

the more we welcome them, the more we accept them, the more we say thank you to them, the more they

appear. In fact, I sometimes think to myself that we don't need bigger lives or more exciting lives. We just need deeper ones,

more conscious ones. It's really easy in the world that we live in to always seek more,

this illusion of more, more, more bigger, deeper, more dramatic, more fireworks, more screaming, versus the quiet magic

of meaning that shows up in small ways every single day. Maybe you're watching a TV show and it

references something that you've been reading or you walk into a store and listen to a song that you've

been thinking about, or maybe you've been toying around with an idea, and then you see an email

from an email list that you're subscribed to that totally ties into it. Why not just say thank you?

Why not go, oh, yes, this is it. It's a sign, synchronicity. I am on

the right track. I saw this funny post a while ago that said something along the lines of

universe, thanks for the sign, but no, no, I need a signier sign. I need something more bold.
