Oh, thank you so much for having me, Dr. Kimberling. It's always good to see you. So you start this new book with the line, you're not as healthy as you think you are.

So that kind of got my attention.

Unpack that why people think they're doing better than they are.

You know, it's funny because I definitely contemplated.

That's definitely, that's my level of intensity. That is 100% mean in a counseling session.

But I think there is something to be said of people who read that line and still continue reading the book, right?

And the reason I say that you're not as healthy as you think you are is because, you know,

there's something called the better than average effect. So social scientists took a bunch of people and they asked them to rate themselves on a scale

of how healthy and good they think they are when it comes to things like driving, their kindness,

their level of morality.
