0:11.0	I'm Tanya Wilmoth. Today in our passage, Psalm 50, God deals with the outside and the inside.
0:18.8	He calls our attention to the contrast between what Christians are doing and saying versus what's going on inside the heart.
0:26.0	Now God has the power and the authority to speak and summons the whole earth and the way he
0:30.5	opens the Psalm says that. It says the mighty one God the Lord speaks and
0:35.2	summons the earth from the rising of the sun to its setting. But then the Psalms
0:40.2	delivers an important message that God is speaking to his chosen people.
0:44.9	It says, out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines forth.
0:49.6	Now that language God shining forth, out of Zion, focuses our attention on God's people Israel
0:54.8	those who have a covenant relationship with him and now that includes everyone
1:00.0	in his church church with a big sea.
1:04.4	What God says to us about a relationship with him is important and how to repair it when it's
1:10.1	empty and superficial.
1:12.4	That's something we don't want and something God doesn't need.
1:16.0	So in this Psalm, God offers us solutions.
1:18.8	The first solution he offers is his word.
1:22.2	In the first part of the message we have to understand that if we
1:25.2	belong to God if we are God's chosen people then when we open and turn to God's
1:29.8	word we can ask him to help us hear and receive it as he intended so that we will grow and
1:36.8	prosper under his instruction. The next solution from Psalm 50 is reality, a reality that leads to humility.
1:46.6	In the following verses, God established his position as the mighty judge.
