0:38.4	My name is Dr. Greg Gifford, and I'm your host, and today we're talking about biblical
0:42.8	counseling and biblical counseling when it comes to instruction for your kids.
0:48.1	This is a really interesting topic, because think of instructing your kids as the guardrail
0:54.1	at the top of the hill.
0:56.0	And when counseling issues come up in a child's life, that's like the ambulance at the bottom of the hill.
1:02.0	Preventative things help us protect our kids from having counseling needs and issues.
1:08.1	And so it's not to say that, hey, if you instruct perfectly, then your child
1:11.6	will have no issues in this life, no, but it is a form of discipleship, and you're equipping
1:17.4	your children for a worldview. I want you to hear me on this one, and I'm very comfortable with
1:22.6	saying this both on transformed or different speaking engagements or teaching engagements, but children that
1:28.6	are 10 and under that have behavioral issues, nine times out of 10, it's coming from the parenting.
1:34.1	It's coming from the environment of that home. And that's not to say there aren't stubborn kids.
