So I recently had a revelation into my personality and I think probably even if I'm going to broaden it out, perhaps human behavior.

So something happened a few weeks ago that I think changes the answer that I would give to a question that no one ever asks me,

but if they did, my answer would now be different.

And so the question, which no one has ever asked me, at least that I can remember,

Now the reality is that motivation plays a huge role in exercise, in fitness,

in doing the things that we can do and probably should do to be the best versions of ourselves

in terms of health and wellness. One of the things that I hear a lot and have heard a lot

since starting this podcast and the blog before was how motivation for so many is a huge struggle.

It's not consistent. It's not the same every day.

You know, one day you can be highly motivated to get out and take the walk,

and then the next day for reasons that you

can't completely put your finger on you're not and sometimes it's obvious sometimes it's obvious

because the weather is not really inviting you're tired schedule's too busy and you can go that's

that's why i don't want to. And then there are other days

when it's just, I don't feel like it. Why? I don't know. I have no idea. I just don't feel like it.

So motivation is very important. And generally, there are two types of motivation. There's

internal motivation and external motivation.

Internal motivation, you're motivated from reasons within desires within.

External motivation is motivation that is, I don't want to say, is being forced upon you,
