We're picking up with day two of our 21 days of discipleship devotional in the Bible

app.

If you guys want to follow along with us, and as always, I'm going to read the scripture

and the Torah is going to pick up the Devo.

Let's do it.

The scripture is Genesis chapter 3, verse 21, and it says this, the Lord God made garments

of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them.

The devotional is titled Contributors Not Consumers, and it says this, throughout the book

of John, John shares seven signs that point us to who Jesus is.

Chapter 2 tells us about the first one.

Jesus attended a wedding in the city where he grew up.

On in the celebration, the family caterers ran out of wine.

This was a big deal in Middle Eastern culture where being a good host was super important.

Weddings were these all out, multi day events, and people came from far away to celebrate

with the bride and groom.

From the very beginning of the marriage, there was a lot of pressure on the couple and

their families to make a good impression.
