So today we're joined with Dave Walcott.

Before we kind of dive right in, when do you tell the audience a little bit about your background?

Yeah, sure. So probably like a lot of other listeners out there, started in a middle class family.

I was raised there and figured that basically the recipe for success was to go to school, get good grades, and that was the

path to success, right?

So I followed that conventional wisdom and ended up doing the ROTC program at GW and went

into the Marine Corps after that.

And in the Marines, I learned a ton of things, things they don't really

teach you outside of school, things such as leadership, integrity, and teamwork, these things

that you just can't really get anywhere else. After that, I transitioned into corporate America.

And for me, Kirk, it was a really tough transition, right? I really lost that

sense of purpose, that sense of mission. And, you know, it was really frustrating transitioning to

corporate. And at the same time, my wife and I actually had a toddler. And then on October 24,

2000, we actually had triplets. So literally quadrupled the size of our family. And so the first
