I would like to share today that I see you.

Of course I don't literally see you right here right now but after having conversations with different

friends members of my community in recent weeks I know that we're doing a lot, right? We're managing a lot. Yes, there's work, yes there's

family, yes there's responsibilities, yes, yes, there are many things going on in our lives at any one time and so much of

what we do requires our effort, our ceaseless effort, requires us showing up,

requires us using our grit, pushing through on days we don't want to and I want to let you know that I see you I

understand you I applaud you for everything you're doing behind the scenes without credit.

I know there are many elements to a full rich life experience.

There is so much that we have to manage.

Maybe you're quietly paying off credit card debt

and saying no to trips and branches this summer. Maybe you are working

on something that's yet to see the light of day so there's no praise or feedback, but you're

pouring your heart and soul into it. Maybe you're

raising young children or helping your elderly parents or grandparents. Maybe

you're helping someone in their life manage a conflict or a problem.

There is so much of this stuff that we do behind the scenes quietly no one sees no one knows no one

thanks us but we are doing the right thing consistently without credit.

My friend, I see you, I acknowledge you and as I said I am clapping for you. I know how it can feel too when

you're behind the scenes doing all the right things and someone else is getting all the public praise or

someone else just seems to be winning or everybody else seems to be winning and

you just see these accomplishments and achievements up the wazoo.
