Summary

“Boredom” has become something negative. We see it as a condition of our lives that we must change. We search for stimulation and distraction, but by doing that, we are essentially saying that this moment is not enough. The next time you feel bored, pause and examine it. You may find that you’re never bored again. This week, Radio Headspace is sponsored by The Michelle Obama Podcast. Listen free at Spotify.com/MichelleObama Learn more about your ad choices. 1:17.7

1:18.7

It's actually a really important skill in life.

1:22.3

I've been so surprised over recent weeks, maybe even last few months actually, how many

1:26.7

messages we've had in saying, I lock down, I'm so bored and I don't know what to do

1:31.2

with my time, and just boredom generally, I feel like is a really interesting idea, and

1:37.5

I say idea rather than experience.
