I'm Lee White. And I'm Samantha Cauderell, and let's jump into it. All right. First things first,

last week we were witness to the Caldecott Award announcements.

And so, guest of the podcast from I think our first or second season won the Caldecott Medal the, the, the, the, the, the, the, for the book fireworks, it was awarded to, uh, illustrated by Katia, uh, Chin and written by Matthew Burgess, Burgess, Burgess, Burgess, Borgas. Yeah. So we've had Katia on the show here, for those of you guys who haven't listened to that,

go check it out.

But she's one of my buds from school.

Mm-hmm.

And it's just so cool to start seeing, you know, people that I went to school with,

this is, this is, I'm both, I'm both super proud of them and super jealous.

But you've got Katia, who just won the Caldecott.

You've got Peter Brown, who's having obviously a huge run with the robot books and movies and stuff.

And then you've got Chris Appel Hans who just won a Golden Globe and an Oscar for the K-pop demon hunters.

So the crew, and then Dan Santad is obviously mixed in there too.

So it was something in the water, I guess, during those years.

And I'm hoping that I got some of that water.

Just give me some of it.

Maybe you gave all the water to them when you shared with you spot.

I don't know.

They took a lot of water.

But it's a talented group, and huge congrats to Katia. She is an amazing talent. But the cool thing is she is such a
