Good to see, Mark. You are as close an

observer of American politics as anyone. And before we move on to Donald Trump and the Republicans

and all the terrible stuff they are doing, I have a bunch of questions I just want to ask you

about Democrats. So to me, I see authoritarianism. I see threats to free and fair elections in

2026. I see literally like

someone who wants to be a dictator and a king. A lot of other Democrats seem to see the same things,

but think that like, sure, Donald Trump is overreaching, but that I am overreacting. So I think I know

which side of the line you fall on here. I think you're closer to mind, but put on your observer hat.

What is the, what is the disconnect going on in the Democratic Party?

Sure.

And yes, you're correct.

I'm, I'm with you on this one.

And here's, I'll give the best side of the, I'll give the best argument on the other side of this, which is most of the people in this country are not paying attention to politics, which is a problem we've had for quite a while now.

The attention gap has been getting worse. You've got like somewhere around 15 to 20 percent of the country that is closely following the political news and the rest is not, even though the rest still vote.
