Today I want to speak about the are we dating the same guy Facebook groups because we often bring

them up on this podcast on the show and I want to once and for all give my sermon on why I don't

agree with them. Now this is with the caveat and I'm only going to this once, and I'm going to hold myself to not saying it again.

If someone is abusive, if someone is a victim of IPV, obviously put that in the group.

Okay, obviously if they are hitting you, if they are being awful, like if it's on that level, obviously, then they could be a good thing.

But you should also go to the police and you should also, like, be careful because, yeah, I just please, like, if you are being abused, make your first stop be the police and not one of these groups.

But, again, the groups can be helpful when there is IPB or other types of abuse. So I want to say that once and for all.

What I'm going to discuss in this episode is when it's like you're ghosted or he was cheating or he was dating multiple people at once and why I think that these groups are literally like very

damaging to society and very more importantly very damaging to women who use them okay fundamentally

I don't believe that these groups work because women won't fully stop dating someone completely. That's not how life works.

That's not how society works. And if it did work, then there would be people in life, in towns,

in, you know, whatever, in cities even, where certain guys were completely ostracized because of these groups.

Okay.

And that's not true, right?

You can't point to tell me like, oh, you know, in the town of Denver, like nobody dates Joe Smith because he was in the group because he was dating three girls at once and now

he can't catch a date. That doesn't happen. Okay. That just doesn't happen. That's not how society works.

That's not how how people work. And therefore, I do not understand what the point is of them.

And I find them to be incredibly negative. It honestly reminds me of black mirror

like going on a database and trying to talk shit on someone even if they did bad behavior.

And I'm going to guess that in a second. I'm going to guess that in a second. Because I know you're

out there going, but tinks he cheated on me. Whatever. Okay. Okay. I get that. Fine. It is very

black mirror to me. I feel the same fucking way about those, uh, those videos that people do on TikTok where they're like, um, if your fiancee was at a bachelor party in Scottsdale, uh, over the weekend and his name begins with a Jay, then I have something to tell you and it's some like vague story.
