But today we are examining a case that has captivated America for more than three decades, talking about the Menendez brothers. They are convicted of

the 1989 murders of their parents, Jose and Mary Louise Kitty Menendez. Lyle and Eric have spent

more than 30 years behind bars to be precise, I think, since, well, not too precise, but since the early 90s.

But now, Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascon, he's up for re-election.

We're going to talk about whether this was a political move or not, but he's way behind in the polling

right now.

But he is the LADA, He's recommending resentencing for the brothers.

So could this mean freedom? That is the bottom line question. And also, are they rehabilitated?

How do we know if they are rehabilitated? Best guess, sound the calm alarm.
