Summary

Cathy and Todd discuss why boys and men can experience emotional isolation and loneliness due to a lack of meaningful relationships with male friends. The inspiration of the discussion comes from a blog written by Mark Greene titled Why Do We Murder The Beautiful Friendship Of Boys.  They also discuss the movie Whiplash and why it’s a perfect example of teaching from a place of fear and ego. They pay tribute to John Denver, a man ahead of his time, who understood the importance of self awareness, protecting the environment, and having compassion for all people.
