And then when Nixon became the nominee, he switched over to Nixon and became one of the

few people ever in history, maybe the only person who was both national security advisor to the

president and then secretary of state, controversial, obviously bombing of Cambodia.

You name it, wherever he goes, there's still occasionally protests, but what a remarkable life.

He was born in Germany, managed to escape the Holocaust, come to America, and live the American dream.

Might not like everything he stands for, but what a reflection on America.

If he hadn't left America, you know what would have happened to him.

He would have been murdered along with six million other Jews.

Many of them very accomplished, like Henry Kissinger.
