Well, it might be.

Adverse reactions to foods are a very real thing and we can react negatively to pretty much any food for a variety

0:23.4

of different reasons. So what we're going to do in this episode today is we're going to break down

0:28.0

the topic of food intolerances, which are also referred to as food sensitivities or like I

0:33.3

mentioned earlier, adverse reactions to foods. We're going to discuss what those different sensitivity reactions are, what some underlying

0:41.6

contributing factors for those reactions can be, how we can identify if we are reacting negatively

0:48.6

to certain foods and what we can do in terms of improving our underlying health so that we experience less of

0:56.8

these adverse reactions because some people will start to experience negative reactions to a

underlying health problems. So that is what we're going to discuss in this episode today. Let's go ahead and start off by defining what these adverse reactions or

adverse reactions to foods. Now, there are two main types of reactions that can occur in response

1:51.7

to eating of food. There are immune mediated reactions and there are non-immune mediated reactions.

1:58.3

And what this means is the immune-mediated reactions are interacting with

2:03.1

our immune system, and the immune system response is what's driving some of the symptoms that we're

2:08.4

experiencing. So classic food allergies where you are having a negative reaction to a food is an
