and how much Hinge has really just personally victimized me, which hinge has really done nothing,

it's just the men on hinge that have personally victimized me.

But the Shade Room posted this really interesting investigation where they said that a lot of women, a lot of

black women on Tik-Tok have been expressing that they feel like hinge is

actually limiting the visibility of their profiles based off their race. So a lot of women have gone viral for saying

that when they changed their hinge ethnicity

to Caucasian but hit it, so obviously it was just like

Caucasian in their settings, but they hit it so it wasn't like oh I'm a

black woman but I'm saying that I'm white it was boosting their algorithm to show

them to more men so Justin Carter is the journalist that reported on this through the

Shade Room and he said that if this is all true and it's not just a niche group of

women talking about this on Tik-Tok, this is huge because black and Hispanic

women actually use the app more by about 5%

than white and Asian women so that the statistic is like 29% for white and Asian women like

for both of us and then for black and Hispanic women it's about

34% for both of them as well. So they talked to some black men as well to get to

get their take on it as well like are you not seeing black women in your app as well and
